Sebastián Murcia is the deputy director of Energy Storage, Capture, and Catalysis at IREC.
The IREC group researches, establishes, and evaluates new energy storage processes, mechanisms, and systems and develops high-performance catalysts to improve the energy conversion processes involved. They also investigate new energy harvesting and storage methods for fully autonomous systems.
